CONFOR Offline-Client: New version available
The CONFOR-Offline-Client is now available in a new, advanced version. The main advantage is the highly simplified setup process. The new Offline-Client can be installed with only few steps e.g. directly from the website of the system provider. The installation can be executed by the end-user himself - there are no administrator-privileges necessary. Furthermore both the data base and the data traffic during the synchronization process can be encrypted. Hence sensitive data are protected at all times e.g. in case of loss of a computer or while using public internet access.
The offline version of the CONFOR configuration system can be used at workstations without network connectivity to a CONFOR server. It can e.g. be provided for customers or used by sales employees who have no network connectivity whilst en route. Both master and configuration data can be synchronized with the network version once a network is available.
